Diamondway Buddhist retreat center Oradea it's a lay retreat place of the Karma Kagyu lineage. It is under the patronage of the 17. Karmapa, Trinley Thaye Dorje and directed by Lama Ole Nydahl.
Among our goals, is to give this retreat center a significant role in the life of the surrounding diamondway centers. Due to it’s regional setting, the Oradea Retreat Center it’s a natural meeting point for many buddhist practitioners, and offers great opportunities to get together for retreats, teachings and also to become part of it’s development, through work, ideas, or any other kind of contribution.
Although, the centers regional function is self-evident, this is not it’s only task :
as part of a network of more than 600 diamondway buddhist centers worldwide, Oradea retreat center warmly welcomes diamondway practitioners from all around the world, who wish to practice in retreat, or wants to get involved in the center's development.
